Condition: almost extremely fine; Diameter: 40mm

Notes: The Walhalla Hall of Fame and Honour is located on theriver Danube six miles from Regensburg in Bavaria. It was the idea of Crown Prince Ludwig I of Bavaria in 1807, but was not finally inaugurated until 18th October 1842, and was inspired by the Parthenon in Athens. Currently there are 191 busts and plaques commemorating important figures connected to Germany.
