Rev: bust left of Henrietta Maria, titles around HENRIETTA MARIA D G MAG BRITAN FRAN ET HIB REG (Henrietta Maria by the grace of God Queen of Great Britain France & Ireland)


Condition: Good very fine, very attractive; Diameter: 29 x 38mm approx, with suspension loop for wearing

Notes: These badges are generally considered to have been made during or soon after the English Civil War, and worn as loyalty medals discretely hidden around the supporter's neck. The references above refer to this medal but with a thick wreath around the whole.
