Rev: COEUR DE LION (Lionheart) within oakwreath

 

Condition: Good very fine; Diameter: 54mm

Notes: Sir Sidney assisted the Pasha of Acre in preventing Bonaparte from taking the town of Acre in 1799 - the siege lasted two months. This action prevented Bonaparte from entering Syria, for which Smith was granted a knighthood.
