Obv: British Grenadiers advance onto enemy lines, INKERMANN above

Notes: These medals depict the three great Allied victories of 1854. The Crimean War began as a Franco-British intervention on Turkey's behalf to prevent Russian expansion. The peace treaty ending the war was signed in 1856.
