Rev: wreath consisting of sprig of Australian wattle and British oak, legend ARTIBUS DIGNIS HONOR INSIGNIS (To the deserving arts distinguished honour) around the Southern Cross, date below

Edge: GORDON AND DILWORTH

Condition: Extremely fine or mearly so, a little dirty in places, reverse edge bruise at 3 o’clock; Diameter: 76mm

Notes: the exhibition was held to mark a century of European settlement in Australia. Gordon & Dilworth were English manufacturers of ketchup and tinned food. The company went into liquidation in 1898.
