Notes: Sir Henry Cole (1808-1882) was co-founder – with Prince Albert – of the Great Exhibition and founder of the Victoria & Albert Museum in London. He is also credited with the concept of sending Christmas cards!

Although relatively modern, these electrotypes are incredibly rare. A specialist dealer I spoke to about this medal said he had only seen one other ever, and that was in his own collection!
