Rev: FOR SERVICES RENDERED DURING THE RAILWAY JOURNEYS OF THEIR MAJESTIES THE KING EMPEROR & QUEEN EMPRESS IN INDIA 1911 in 10 lines

 

 

Condition: Extremely fine or nearly so, small stain to reverse; Diameter: 32mm

Notes: Medal Yearbook says it is thought this medal was awarded to the Honour Guard of the East Indian Railway Volunteer Rifle Corps during the Indian tour of George V and Queen Mary and that no more than 30 were issued – rare indeed!
