Rev: a helmeted knight with boar on helm, THY NECESSITY IS YET GREATER THAN MINE, ZUT/PHEN across

 

 

Condition: Good very fine, artificial green tone; Diameter: 65mm

Notes: In his 31 years of life, Sidney certainly made the most of it. Zutphen refers to the Battle of Zutphen (1586) where he was fatally wounded fighting for the Protestant cause against the Spanish.
