Notes: John Rogers (17 July 1778 – 12 June 1856) was an English Anglican priest, Cornish landowner, mine-owner, botanist, mineralogist, and scholar of Hebrew and Syriac, having been educated at Helston Grammar School, Eton and Trinity College, Oxford.
